Description: Mapping from a number of flood, overland flow, master drainage planning and storm tide studies are available.
Information from ten flood studies has been developed to provide information on flooding characteristics from the Sunshine Coast’s creek and river systems.
Eight overland flow models have been created for an understanding of how overland flow moves throughout large areas of the Sunshine Coast.
Master drainage plans for sixteen urban areas have been developed, to provide information on overland flow characteristics in urban areas, and to investigate potential stormwater network upgrades in areas of high growth.
Results from the Sunshine Coast Storm Tide Study are also presented to show the effects of additional surge from the ocean during meteorological (storm) conditions.
